After our trip to VolksWorld Show this year we decided to visit the phenomenal Le Bug Show on the 2nd and 3rd of August 2014! It will be our first time there and if you are also interested by traveling in convoy to this great event please contact us: die_luftverkuehlten@gmx.at

DLV came together at the last Altblech FNC for this season with three members of our community. Once again there were a lot of cars to take a look at. But make yourself a picture!

Yesterday we held our meeting for the second time on the great parking space on Viennas Kahlenberg. It was a great time with great cars and their lovely drivers! We want to say thank you all for coming and your support!

On the weekend we visited a gathering of air-cooled Volkswagens in Angern an der March, right at the border to Slovakia. But it was so hot at that day (104°F or 40°C in the shade), that we just spent a couple hours at the meeting. Now we’re looking forward to Read more…

Yesterday we visited the “20th bug meeting Lengenfeld” in Lower Austria. Also Chris hit the road in his buggy – the first time this season, to be one of estimated 150 rides.

Last weekend we visited the 2nd VW Beetle Show of Nappersdorf in our province of Lower Austria. Together with all the other visitors we drove to the border of the Czech Republic and the so-called “Excalibur City”.

Matthias, Georgy and Domi visited the biannual air-cooled Volkswagen show in Laxenburg. More than 100 vehicles showed up – from Beetles to Kombis and Buggies to Brezels. Thanks to the “VW Beetle and Bulli Lover’s Club Laxenburg” for that wonderful day. The DLV – Aircooled Community are patronizing you.

Yesterday we visited the legendary “Hot Summer Nite” at the SCS (Shopping City South). A lot of air-cooled Volkswagens and Porsches attended the show. Here the pictures:

Herbie and his friends from “DLV – Aircooled Community” visited the monthly “Friday Night Cruising by Altblech” at the SCS Shopping Center in the South of Vienna.

A few people braved the bad weather and visited the meeting in upper austria.

This year, the VW Bug meeting in Eggenburg celebrated its 23rd anniversary. DLV visited the biggest event of its kind in Austria for the fifth time. About 550 aircooled vehicles were counted, here are some impressions.

Yesterday we visited the Altblech Friday Night Cruising season opening on the parking lot of the SCS near Vienna. About 30 Old- and Youngtimer came to the monthly meeting.

DLV goes international! After our trip to London the hard core of our community celebrated revival in one bug – in Flo’s ‘97 1600i on the way to Hungary.

Almost overlooked we found our way downstairs where about 30 other Volkswagen were standing. The whole show was really amazing and that was certainly not the last time that we came to Sandown Park.     Stay tuned for the upcoming video!

At about 0°C and windy weather we dared to go outside where many more cars could be marvelled. Fortunately it only rained every now and then.  

During a 6-day London vacation DLV visited the annual VolksWorld Show at Sandown Park – Esher near London. It was quite a great expirience to be on a Volkswagen meeting where we’ve seen so much of rusted out and fully done vehicles. Here we try to give you a small Read more…

Spiting the sketchy weather we visited this meeting for the first time and it was also the first trip for Benjamin’s “Dirty Old Mexican”! Chris earned much respect for coming in his roofless (!) Buggy even though it was raining heavily!

Christian, Georgy, Flo, Matthias and Domi visited the 4th Friday Night Cruising by “Altblech” – a community for classic cars in Austria. Every last Friday of the month vintage cars from all over meet at the parking lot of SCS – Vienna’s biggest shopping center.

Five DLV air-cooled Volkswagen visited the 19th VW Bug Show in Lengenfeld, Lower Austria, today.

It is time for the 19th VW Bug Show in Lengenfeld, Lower Austria. It will take place from Friday to Sunday. We’ll be there on Saturday. If you are interested in following our convoy, don’t hesitate to contact us!

6 people, 4 days and 3 aircooled vehicles! Flo, Chris, Benjamin, Georgy, Fabi and Tami visited the 9th international VW Bug meeting in the south of Austria.

On friday DLV visited the monthly repeating show “HSN” at the Shopping City South in Vienna. They saw some beautiful american cars and also a few bugs could be found. See more at: http://www.hotsummernites.at/

Today Georgy visited the annual “Rollertreffen im Wiener Prater”. There was also a common trip along the Wiener Ringstrasse.  

Christian, Fabi and Georgy visited the biggest aircooled VW meeting in Austria with Flo’s ‘73 Buggy and Georgy’s ‘84 Mexican! The second one was fitted with standard tires at the front because the lowering doesn’t offer enough space for the ATS rims!  

Georgy, Christian and Domi drove to the SCS (Shopping Center South) where the last “Hot Summer Nite” of this year took place. Also some air-cooled vehicles where found by us.

Bei (wieder einmal) leicht verregneten Wetter besuchten wir mit zwei Fahrzeugen das jährliche Treffen des Käferclub Lengenfeld.

Trotz des etwas angeschlagen Zustandes vom Flo hat sich er und der Georgy das Nappersdorfer Käfertreffen nicht entgehen lassen. Trotz schlechtem Wetter waren schöne Fahrzeuge zu bestaunen. Natürlich – wie eh immer – war auch der Käfertom mit seinem 411er mit dabei.
