Almost overlooked we found our way downstairs where about 30 other Volkswagen were standing. The whole show was really amazing and that was certainly not the last time that we came to Sandown Park. Stay tuned for the upcoming video!
At about 0°C and windy weather we dared to go outside where many more cars could be marvelled. Fortunately it only rained every now and then.
During a 6-day London vacation DLV visited the annual VolksWorld Show at Sandown Park – Esher near London. It was quite a great expirience to be on a Volkswagen meeting where we’ve seen so much of rusted out and fully done vehicles. Here we try to give you a small brief insight of what we’ve spotted.
Only 3 days left till the VolksWorld Show takes place, the biggest and best indoor air-cooled VW Show in the world. We will be there the whole weekend.
Benjamin and Chris heard from a guy, they met at their new hall, there is a disassembled bug stored in a barn near Korneuburg. We just received an English written article by Heilie Combrinck from Uitenhage, where Domi & Zainab visited the South African Volkswagen factory and its museum, the “AutoPavilion”.
When Chris starts a new project, in that case the repair of his Buggy, most of the time it ends up in a complete mess.The engine needs a repair because both cylinder heads have cracks connecting the holes for the valves and spark plugs => not good. So he decided to disassemble the engine completely and overhaul it. Also the customized wire harness has to be replaced by a original one to finally get rid of all those electrical problems….
All parts look like they are new now. Flo can’t wait to see it put together soon!
