Or do we..?
With over 21 million manufactured in an air-cooled, rear-engined, rear-wheel drive configuration, the Volkswagen Beetle is the longest-running and most-manufactured car of a single design platform anywhere in the world.
Herbie’s World Tour got featured in the latest edition of “FUSCA & CIA”, a Brazilian magazine about the air-cooled Volkswagen Bug. The story goes over eight full pages and includes a lot of pictures from our travels around the world. The article is written in Portuguese by Luiz Guedes Jr. from Brazil.
An old Bug also needs equipment from this time, so Matthias found an old first-aid-kit on ebay and a breakdown triangle in Friedrichs storage. The bandages look like brand new.
Today Herbie and Domi visited the reportedly “greatest VW show on earth”, better known as California’s “VW Classic 2012” in Irvine, near Los Angeles. Hundreds of air-cooled Volkswagen showed up and the Love Bug enjoyed being part of the show.
We wish our Georgy a happy birthday! Thanks for beeing such a good friend. We’re glad to have you at DLV!
On friday DLV visited the monthly repeating show “HSN” at the Shopping City South in Vienna. They saw some beautiful american cars and also a few bugs could be found. See more at: //www.hotsummernites.at/
Today Georgy visited the annual “Rollertreffen im Wiener Prater”. There was also a common trip along the Wiener Ringstrasse.
